As you know last week there was Flash on the Beach 2009 Conference. So I searched the web for some videos from there and I came up with 3 clips. The first one is the intro for FOTB ’09, the second one is about Flash CS5 Viper and the last one presents new features form PresentiaFx application.
In an early post I wrote about The Actionscript Conference, the largest AS conference in South East Asia. And since I’m still in topics about conferences I decided to write about the largest Flash conference in Europe. Of course that is Flash on the Beach.
In time of continuous development for software applications, where the Internet evolves every second as we speak, open source software and applications are a common thing for every developer, either giant or small. And, in order to maintain its position as a giant software producer, Adobe is finally adopting this strategy by releasing two new flash technologies under the Mozilla Public License (MPL). According to the press release, they are aimed especially towards source initiatives for developers, media companies and publishers.
Couple of days ago Adobe announced that the new smartphone Android from HTC Hero is the first phone to ship with support for Flash Player. With Hero you will be able to navigate rich Internet sites, play Flash games and watch videos.
