Cinemagraphs are more than a photo, but not quite a video. It’s a picture in which a minor and repeated movement action occurs. Two artists, photographer Jamie Beck, in collaboration with motion graphics designer Kevin Burg first introduced this technique on the last Fashion Week to animate their photographs.
Short animated movies are great to watch. Everyone has an original idea, a creative concept, compressed in maximum 15 minutes animation. Most of them are awarded or nominated for the Oscar Academy Awards. If you don’t have time to watch all at once, consider bookmarking the article. Some of them are funny, others came with an unexpected final, others impressed in animation and storytelling but all have huge emotional impact on the viewer.

Searching some interesting stuff for the Weekly Video section I came up on this tutorial video in wich Ty Voliter, a developer on the Adobe Flash Catalyst Team, demonstrates how to use states and the timelines panel to build an introductory animation in your Flash Catalyst project. The animation will play right when the application loads in the browser.
In my bookmark folder I have two trailer movie sites that I daily check. Yes, I’m a film addict and I enjoy watching every new movie teaser or trailer. But I don’t restrain only to that. I also pay a good visit to the official site in order to get more info about the movie I find interesting.
