One of them in my opinion is Snackr, an AIR app built using Adobe Flex 3 and Adobe AIR 1.0. So, for this week I found a 5 min video review for this tool that will give you a better look of how it works.

Snackr is a RSS ticker that pulls random items from your feeds and scrolls them across your desktop. It keeps you up to date in an easy way.
